  <Accordion title="What is Hops?">
    Hops is a multiplayer AI workspace for teams and agents. Your team and your AI agents share the same memory, context, and workspace.

    Instead of everyone using a separate private chatbot and re-explaining the same context, Hops gives the whole team one shared context for getting work done together.

  <Accordion title="How is Hops different from ChatGPT or Copilot?">
    Most AI tools are single-player: one person, one private chat, one isolated context window. Every session starts from zero.

    Hops is multiplayer. Your agents know what the team knows. They read from threads, docs, and connected tools your whole team has built up. An agent can hand off work to another agent or a teammate with full context attached. No one re-explains the brief.

  <Accordion title="What is a Hop?">
    A Hop is an AI agent that works in your team's Spaces. Every workspace comes with a default agent called Hops, and you can create custom agents for any role: marketing, sales, finance, support, or anything else.

  <Accordion title="What is a Space?">
    A Space is the shared workspace where your team and agents work together. It contains threads, docs, pinned context, and artifacts. Everything relevant to a project or workflow.

  <Accordion title="What tools can Hops connect to?">
    Agents can read from 500+ tools, powered by the Pipedream integration catalog. Featured integrations include Amplitude, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive & Docs, HubSpot, Jira, Linear, Miro, Notion, Sentry, and Stripe.

    You connect tools from **Settings**, then **Connections**. See [Featured integrations](/connections/featured-integrations) for details.

  <Accordion title="Is my data secure?">
    Hops reads from connected tools with the same permissions as the account you authorize. It doesn't get elevated access. Your data is not used to train AI models.

    You can review and revoke any connection at any time from **Settings**, then **Connections**.

  <Accordion title="Can agents send emails or update records automatically?">
    By default, any action that affects something outside Hops (sending an email, updating a CRM record, modifying a document) requires your approval before it happens.

    You can configure this per agent and per action type. See [Agent permissions](/agents/agent-permissions).

  <Accordion title="How does Hops handle sensitive information?">
    Hops accesses only what you explicitly connect and authorize. Invite-only Spaces keep sensitive work from the broader workspace. You can scope each connection to limit what an agent can read.

    For particularly sensitive workflows (HR, Legal, Finance), we recommend scoping tool access tightly. See [Agent permissions](/agents/agent-permissions).

  <Accordion title="Can I build my own agent?">
    Yes. Custom agents let you define the role, instructions, tools, and permissions. Build one for any workflow your team needs.

  <Accordion title="What's the difference between a workspace connection and a personal connection?">
    **Workspace connections** are available to all agents in your workspace. Added by an admin from Settings, then Connections.

    **Personal connections** are yours only: your calendar, personal email, private drive. Only your personal assistant can read them. Your teammates and workspace agents cannot.
